The Manor House: Indoor Spaces that Photograph Beautifully!

The Manor House is a stunningly “Colorado” wedding venue. Located on six acres of gorgeous land near Dry Creek Canyon, this historic site boasts views of rustic landscape and downtown Denver, and prides itself on being “the ideal backdrop for an authentic mountain wedding in Colorado.” But let’s face it. The only thing predictable about Colorado weather is that it’s, well, unpredictable! Especially in the months most popular for saying “I do.” No worries here, though. Let’s talk indoor spaces at The Manor House (that still photograph beautifully)!

The Manor House Ballroom

If you envision a classic mountain wedding, The Manor House ballroom can help you achieve cozy mountain vibes, even without the mountains. This space is incredibly versatile! The fireplace can center an elegant ceremony, or add to the ambiance of a stunning candlelight reception. With classic white walls, and large/gorgeous windows, you can make this space anything you want it to be! Add pops of color with linens, floral centerpieces, or hanging baskets. Keep things simple with candles, string lights, or lanterns. Personal touches can frame the fireplace, top the tables, and even adorn the exposed wooden beams across the ceiling. Truly, the sky is the limit for this room’s potential.

The Library

Wherever you decide for your ceremony and reception (and seriously, there are no bad options here), I highly recommend taking photos in the library. It’s sophisticated, it’s classy, and it sets an elegant mood from every angle. Leave the space as-is (it’s pretty perfect!), or personalize it with flowers, furniture, or even cocktails, depending on what mood you’re going for. From bridal portraits, couples portraits, family portraits, or even wedding party portraits, you’ll love every shot in this space!

Kent’s Cottage

True, it’s known as being perfect for hair and make up, getting ready photos, and pre-ceremony activities. But the light and airy ambiance of Kent’s Cottage can make a perfect backup portrait location, too. Especially if the weather isn’t cooperating! The natural light can highlight elegant detail shots. Add the venue’s cozy couch to the frame and mirror corner for clean, effortless bridal portraits. This space combines timeless romance with whimsical luxury!

Bonus Space: The Manor House Entryway

If the outdoor shots aren’t working out, and the ballroom is handling the ceremony and/or reception, the entryway of the historic mansion can create a sweet or dramatic portrait backdrop all it’s own. Make a grand entrance down the staircase for a romantic “first look,” adorn the banister with lights or greenery, and let the architecture and soft lighting set the stage for perfect photos.

Ready to book? If a Manor House wedding is in your future, let’s talk. I know this space, and I’d love to bring your vision to life!
